What is the difference between the SHR Shear and the SHR Starter Kit?

The Wilton SHR Strut & Threaded Rod Shear is the shear head only, it requires a separate hydraulic power source. The SHR Starter Kit includes both the shear head and power pack so you can begin cutting right away.

What profiles can the Wilton SHR shear cut?

The SHR shear cuts deep strut (1-5/8" x 1-5/8"), shallow strut (1-5/8" x 13/16"), and threaded rod. Specialty blade sets expand capacity to B-Line strut, back-to-back strut, and additional threaded rod sizes. See Wilton SHR Shear Blade Sets for the full selection.

Do I need the power pack to use the SHR shear?

Yes. The SHR Shear requires a hydraulic power source to operate. If you do not have one, the SHR Power Pack or the SHR Starter Kit are the right options.

What blade sets are available for the Wilton SHR shear?

Six blade sets are available: Standard, Deep Only, B-Line 4D21, B-Line 4D22, Back to Back Strut, and Threaded Rod. All are listed in the Wilton SHR Shear Blade Sets collection.
