Choosing a Powermatic Dust Collector for Your Shop

Finding the right Powermatic dust collector comes down to shop size, filtration needs, and available power. Use the guide below to match each model to your setup.

Powermatic Dust Collectors FAQs

What is the difference between the PM1300TX and PM1900TX dust collectors?

The PM1300TX runs on 115V single-phase power and moves 1300 CFM, making it the right fit for smaller shops. The PM1900TX moves more air and adds single and three-phase power options for busier shops with heavier dust loads.

What does TurboCone technology do?

TurboCone separates chips and heavier debris before they reach the filter. This reduces clogging, helps maintain consistent airflow, and extends the time between filter cleanings or bag changes.

What is the difference between the 30-micron bag filter and the 2-micron canister filter?

The 30-micron bag filter captures larger dust particles and is a solid choice for general woodworking. The 2-micron canister filter captures finer airborne dust at 98% efficiency and is the better choice for shops where fine dust control and air quality are the priority.

Do you carry replacement bags and filters for Powermatic dust collectors?

Yes. We carry Powermatic Dust Collector Accessories including replacement bag kits for the PM1300TX and PM1900TX, a canister filter upgrade kit, and a HEPA filter for the PM2200.
