Edwards Horizontal Presses FAQs

What's the difference between the PowerLink and Portable Power Unit horizontal press?

Both are 20-ton presses with the same table and stroke. The PowerLink Hydraulic Tool connects to a compatible Edwards Ironworker with PowerLink or a Portable Power Unit. The Portable Power Unit version ships with its own power source built in.

What tooling comes standard with an Edwards horizontal press?

Every Edwards horizontal press ships with 20-foot quick-connect hoses and a 6" brake with 4-way die, so you can start forming clips, brackets, and hangers right out of the box.

What accessories are available for Edwards horizontal presses?

We carry Edwards Horizontal Press Attachments, including clevis form tools, clevis pins in multiple sizes, arbor pins, and material stops to extend your press setups.

Can I run an Edwards horizontal press without an Ironworker?

Yes. Choose the Portable Power Unit configuration if you do not have a compatible Edwards Ironworker with PowerLink. It includes its own power source, so the press runs standalone.
