Laguna F1 vs F2 vs F3

Your choice comes down to shop space, power, stability, and how much support you need for larger or heavier work.

Laguna Table Saws FAQs

How does dust collection work on Laguna Fusion table saws

All Laguna Fusion saws include built-in dust collection ports: a 4" port below the table and a 1.5" port at the blade guard. The Fusion F2 and F3 also have sealed cabinet bottoms, which help direct airflow toward the dust ports for more efficient capture.

For even better collection at the cut line, Laguna offers an optional Laguna Tablesaw Dust Collection Kit. It adds an overhead guard and hose assembly that connects to a 4" dust port. The guard pulls dust directly from above the blade, improving visibility and helping keep fine dust out of the air.

You’ll want the overhead kit if you cut plywood, MDF, or other materials that release fine dust, or if you want clearer sightlines during everyday ripping and crosscutting.

What cutting inserts, riving knives, and dado components are included with Laguna Fusion saws?

Every Laguna Fusion table saw comes with a standard riving knife and a factory throat plate installed. These allow the saw to run safely for everyday through-cuts with the included 10" blade.

We offer optional accessories sold separately:

  • Thin-Kerf Riving Knife — required when using thin-kerf blades (minimum kerf 2.2 mm). It replaces the standard riving knife whenever the blade guard is removed.
  • Zero Clearance Throat Plate — closes the blade gap for cleaner edges and better support on plywood, hardwood, and small parts.
  • Dado Insert — required when using dado stacks up to 3/4". The insert provides a wider opening while keeping the workpiece supported around the cut.
  • Standard Replacement Plate (F1 only) — OEM replacement for the original insert if it becomes worn or damaged.

Laguna designs all Fusion riving knives and inserts as model-matched components, so each accessory fits the Fusion F1, F2, and F3 as listed.

Can I run my F1 or F2 saw on 220V power?

We offer the F1 & F2 Conversion Kit for switching supported models from 110V to 220V operation. It’s designed for F1 and older F2 saws that do not have a digital readout (DRO). The conversion reduces amperage draw and allows the saw to run on a properly wired 220V circuit.

How do I move a Fusion table saw in a small shop?

The Fusion F2 and F3 have built-in mobility hardware. The Fusion F1 does not, but we offer a dedicated Fusion F1 Wheel System. It mounts to the F1 base and lets you tip and roll the saw to clean around it or reposition your layout without lifting. The fixed wheels track straight for predictable movement.

Do Laguna Fusion table saws need calibration during setup?

All Laguna Fusion saws include standard adjustment points for aligning the blade, fence, cast iron wings, and riving knife during setup. The Fusion F2 and F3 use cabinet-mounted trunnions, which are designed to maintain alignment more consistently over time compared to table-mounted systems. Laguna recommends verifying alignments during assembly for all models.
