Powermatic Bandsaws FAQs

What is the difference between Powermatic B and BT bandsaw models?

The BT models include ArmorGlide surface treatment on key contact areas. ArmorGlide reduces friction, improves material feed, and protects against corrosion. All mechanical specs, motor options, and cutting capacity are identical between B and BT versions.

What resaw capacity do Powermatic bandsaws offer?
  1. Resaw capacity varies by model. The PWBS-14CS offers 6". The PM1500 and PM1500T offer 14". The PM1800B and PM1800BT offer 18". The PM2013B and PM2013BT offer 18". The PM2415B and PM2415BT offer 15".

Do Powermatic bandsaws come with a fence?

Most models include the Accu-Fence T-square fence system for accurate resaw alignment. The PWBS-14CS includes an aluminum rip fence with resaw attachment. The PM1500 and PM1500T do not include the Accu-Fence.
