30-Ton Hydraulic Cylinder and Ductile Iron Frame Cut Clean Without Deburring
The 30-ton cylinder pushes through strut and threaded rod in about three seconds and leaves a straight edge that needs no cleanup before use. The precision machined ductile iron frame holds up to the force of repeated cuts in a demanding job site environment without flex or fatigue.
SPX Power Unit Runs the Shear On Site Without a Separate Supply
The included SPX hydraulic power unit runs on a 1 HP single phase permanent magnet motor and delivers 10,000 psi to drive the shear. A roll cage protects the unit during transport and on the job, and a rocker-switch cabled remote lets the operator trigger cuts from a comfortable position. The 6' hose with quick couplings connects the power unit to the shear without tools.
Standard Blade Set Handles Common Strut Profiles with Tool-Free Changes
The standard blade set shears 1-5/8" and 7/8" strut profiles and swaps out without extra tools when the job calls for a different profile. Additional blade sets are available separately for back-to-back strut, deep-only strut, Cooper B-Line® 4D21 and 4D22 strut, and threaded rod from 1/4" to 5/8" diameter.
Support Rods and Measurement Scale Keep Repeat Cut Lengths Consistent
Two support rods with a 17" measurement scale from backstop to cut point let you set a target length and hold it across multiple pieces without re-measuring each one. When the job calls for longer stock, the support rods swap out for standard 1" O.D. pipe to accommodate the application.
