Single-Head Laguna SuperBrush Sanders

Single-head models run one brush over each part at feed rates up to 15 FPM. The two smaller models run on 1 phase power, and the widest model needs 3 phase.

What is a brush sander used for?

A brush sander feeds parts under a spinning abrasive brush. It handles sealer sanding, denibbing, breaking edges, texturing, and prepping parts for paint. The brush reaches profiles and edges that flat sanders miss. For flat sanding of wide panels, see our Laguna Wood Widebelt Sanders.

Should I buy a single-head or double-head brush sander?

A single-head model runs one brush over each part and suits steady batch work. A double-head model runs two brushes in sequence and feeds up to 30 FPM, twice the single-head rate. The 36" Double-Head and 49" Double-Head also add a ProScale DRO.

What power does a Laguna SuperBrush sander need?

All models run on 208-230V. The 24" Single-Head and 36" Single-Head run on 1 phase with a 30 amp circuit. The 49" Single-Head and every double-head model need 3 phase power. Check each product page for exact amperage.

How much dust collection does a SuperBrush sander need?

The 24" Single-Head needs at least 1200 CFM. The 49" Double-Head needs 2400 CFM. All other models need 1800 CFM. Our Laguna Industrial Dust Collectors are sized for shop-wide collection at this level.
