Choosing an Edwards Radius Roller for Your Shop

The right choice comes down to whether you already run an Edwards ironworker with PowerLink or need a standalone unit. Compare the two configurations below.

Edwards Radius Roller with PowerLink

  • 20-ton hydraulic rating
  • Runs off PowerLink ironworker or power unit
  • 3" flat bar capacity easy way

This is the right choice if your shop already runs an Edwards ironworker with PowerLink and wants to add rolling capability to it.

Edwards Radius Roller with Portable Power Unit

  • 20-ton hydraulic rating
  • Includes standalone portable power unit
  • 3" flat bar capacity easy way

This is the right choice if you need a radius roller that runs on its own power, independent of an ironworker.

Edwards Radius Rollers FAQs

What is the difference between the two Edwards radius rollers?

The PowerLink Hydraulic Tool runs off an Edwards ironworker with PowerLink or a separate power unit. The Portable Power Unit version includes its own power source, so it runs on its own without an ironworker.

What materials can an Edwards radius roller bend?

Both models handle pipe, tube, flat bar, angle iron, square tube, and channel up to a 20-ton rating. The included universal die set covers most common shop stock right out of the box.

Do I need a separate power source for the radius roller?

The Edwards Radius Roller with PowerLink Hydraulic Tool needs a PowerLink ironworker or power unit to run. The Edwards Radius Roller with Portable Power Unit includes its own power source.

Are additional dies available for the radius roller?

Yes. We carry Edwards Radius Roller Attachments including pipe, tube, square tube, and flat bar dies in a range of sizes.
