Apollo Cups & Fluid Feed Systems FAQs

How do I choose between a gravity cup and a pressure cup?

Gravity cups are best for small batches, quick color changes, and thinner materials.

Pressure cups move material more easily, making them better for thicker coatings and longer spray sessions.

When should I upgrade to a 2 Qt or 2.5 Gal fluid feed system?

Move to a pressure pot or mobile cart when:

  • A quart cup isn’t enough for the job
  • You want longer, uninterrupted spray time
  • You need lighter weight at the gun or more mobility around large projects

What’s the difference between Teflon-lined and standard aluminum cups?

Teflon-lined cups clean easier and resist waterborne coatings.

Standard aluminum cups are ideal for solvent finishes like lacquer, shellac, and polyurethane.

Will these cups and feed systems work with all Apollo turbines?

Yes. All Apollo cups and fluid feed systems are compatible with the 7700, 7500, and all POWER and PRECISION series turbines unless otherwise noted on the product page.
