Many spraying difficulties are the result of using incorrect size needles, nozzles, and air caps. It is very important to make sure you have the proper spray needles, nozzles, and air caps for your Apollo Sprayer so you can tackle any project.

We have pre-packaged common Needle, Nozzle, and Air Cap combinations with the Apollo Spray Kits. These kits allow you to save when bundled together. Alternatively, you can still buy them individually.

The chart below shows you which needles and nozzle combination to use for various applications. The maximum viscosity measured with a Zahn #2 cup is also shown.

0.5mm Needle, Nozzle and Air Cap Set
For spraying clear coat on cars. It is primarily used only for spraying clear coat in a spot repair situation. Anything larger than one panel is too much.

This set comes with the 1.3mm - 2.0mm nozzles and needles. The set also includes the B-HS and C-HS air caps. The B-HS air cap when paired with the 1.3mm and 1.5mm nozzles is perfect for spraying high-solids wood coatings. The C-HS cap when paired with the 1.8 or 2.0mm nozzles is perfect for spraying latex paint on walls and doors. For spraying latex on cabinets we recommend the 1.5mm with B-HS cap for smoother results.
