Tormek Blackstone Silicon SB-250

With the Tormek Blackstone Silicon, you have the toughest grindstone for the toughest materials. It is the ideal grinding wheel for sharpening harder steel with your T8 Sharpening Machine.

With a diameter of 250 mm (9.84"), the Blackstone Silicon has been developed to shape and sharpen HSS and other high alloy steels. It is popular with woodturners, among others, for its efficient material removal on hard woodturning tools.

  • More efficient sharpening of HSS and other high-alloy steels in comparison to the SG-250 Original Grindstone
  • Grit is adjustable between 220 and 1000 grit with the SP-650 Stone Grader (included with the T-8 Machine)
  • Regain a perfectly flat surface with the TT-50 Truing Tool (included with the T-8 machine)
  • Included with the T-8 but also compatible with the T-7 and older models
    • There is currently no Blackstone Silicon Grindstone available for the T-4
