Hegner Sawdust Management System

The HEGNER Sawdust Management System, standard on all new HEGNER Scroll Saws since 2013 and retrofittable to most older models*, gives you the following advantages:

• Can be positioned at user’s discretion to adapt perfectly to any material thickness.
• Can be set to blow air in any desired direction.
• Can be converted from blower to dust extractor (and back) with use of a shop vac in seconds.
• Can be set up as a combination sawdust blower (above table) and extractor (underneath table).

How does it work? The blue segmented articulating tube can be positioned precisely and set to either blow air when the plastic tube is connected to the bellows, or draw air when the plastic tube is connected to the dust extraction port. The funnel also serves to draw the sawdust which falls out under the saw.  Dimensions of the Funnel are OD 4cm & ID3.5cm or 1-3/8", tapers down to ID 3cm or 1-1/8".

Please note: This system does not include the air bellows, but works with the bellows supplied in almost all HEGNER models. If you need a replacement bellows, please see the parts page for your saw model.

*If your table support has an angle from the base (like below picture), there will be an additional extension needed for the exhaust flange bracket, but you will have to let us know by choosing the "pre 1996" set from the pulldown menu, adding a note and machine # at check out, or call us and leave a message 800-727-6553.
