Choosing a Powermatic Mortiser for Your Shop

The main decision comes down to table size, stroke depth, and whether your work calls for angled mortising. Use the guide below to match each model to your shop.

  • Chisel capacity: up to 3/4 in
  • Table: 12-1/2 in x 2-5/8 in fence

  • Style: Benchtop

The right choice for smaller shops wanting accurate, repeatable bench mortising in a compact footprint on 115V power.

Powermatic 719T Tilt Table Mortiser with Stand

  • Chisel capacity: up to 1 in
  • Table: 20-1/4 in x 4-1/2 in fence, tilts 0°–35°
