What's the difference between the FE-850 and the FE-1200?

The Baileigh FE-850 moves up to 850 CFM through a four-stage filter set. The Baileigh FE-1200 moves up to 1110 CFM and adds air pulse cleaning to keep the filter clear automatically.

How much airflow do I need for my shop?

A single welding station usually runs well on 850 CFM. Shops welding more often or running larger jobs benefit from the added airflow and self-cleaning filter on the FE-1200.

How often do the filters need to be replaced?

Filter life depends on how much you weld and what materials you cut. The FE-1200's air pulse cleaning extends time between changes, while the FE-850 uses manual maintenance across its four filter stages.

Do these units work with both MIG and TIG welding?
