After sharpening on your T4, the Tormek LA-145 Leather Honing Wheel provides that final touch you need. Polish your bevel and gently deburr for the sharpest and most pristine results. Honing will allow you to retain and regain sharpness quickly when you don't need to establish a new bevel.

The leather on this wheel is eco-friendly and top quality, coming from the respected Tärnsjö Garveri tannery in Sweden. Tärnsjö Garveri has been tanning leather for 150 years and is one of the few tanneries to tan their leather using only natural vegetable products.

The LA-145 is to be used with the T4 Sharpening Machine and must always be used with the PA-70 Honing Compound. When the honing wheel is new, you must apply the provided light machine oil before applying the PA-70 compound to extend service life and maximize performance.

The LA-120 Profiled Leather Honing Wheel is also a great add-on to the LA-145 allowing you to hone and polish the inside of tools with curved edges where access is otherwise difficult.
