The Nova DVR Motor Upgrade replaces the stock motor on your Nova 1624 Lathe with a variable speed DVR motor. It bolts on using the existing motor flange, so no belt changes are needed to reach the full speed range. The upgrade keeps every feature you rely on, including the swivel headstock, and stays compatible with your current Nova chucks, centers, and bed extensions. You get smoother speed control and added safety sensing built right into the motor.
