This tool post is part of Nova's modular M12 Tool Rest System, letting you mix and match posts and bars to build the tool rest your lathe work calls for. The 5/8" shaft fits most wood midi lathe toolside shafts, including the Comet II. Cast iron and stainless steel construction resists rust from wet wood over time. A tool rest bar is required and sold separately.
