The MBS-1014W head rotates to any angle between 0° and 45° while the base remains in place. Your workpiece stays clamped in the vise without repositioning between cuts. This design removes a common source of setup error when cutting miters in bar stock, tube, or structural sections.
Hydraulic Downfeed Controls Cutting Pressure
A fully adjustable hydraulic downfeed system manages the rate at which the saw arm descends into the cut. A separate on/off control valve lets you stop and restart the feed without disturbing your speed setting. Consistent downfeed pressure keeps the blade loaded correctly, which extends blade life and produces cleaner cuts across different material cross sections.
Carbide Blade Guides with Roller Bearings Stabilize the Blade
Carbide blade guides with roller bearing support hold the blade in alignment through the full depth of each cut. Coolant is delivered directly through the guide assembly to the cutting zone, keeping heat under control and helping the blade maintain its edge during extended use. A self-propelled wire brush runs continuously to clear chips from the blade before they reach the guides.
Quick-Positioning Vise Speeds Setup Between Cuts
The vise uses a rack and handwheel system that lets you slide the movable jaw quickly to rough position before tightening down for the cut. An adjustable material stop gives you a repeatable reference point when you are cutting multiple pieces to the same length. A large angle scale on the saw head lets you read and set your miter angle without guesswork.
