Meehanite Cast Iron Frame Reduces Vibration
The JTM-4VS is built from Certified Meehanite casting, a process that produces a denser, more consistent iron than standard casting methods. A rigid frame absorbs vibration during cuts and keeps the machine stable through longer runs.
Hardened and Ground Ways Support Accurate Table Movement
Precision hardened and ground ways control table movement across all three axes with consistent resistance and minimal play. Adjustable gibs throughout the machine let you dial in the fit as the machine wears over time.
Variable Speed Spindle Covers a Wide Range of Work
The spindle runs from 60 to 4,200 RPM without belt changes, letting you move between materials and operations without stopping the job. Three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop gives you control over quill movement during drilling and boring work.
Optional Powerfeed and DRO Configurations Extend Shop Capability
The JTM-4VS is available with X-axis, X and Y-axis, or X, Y and Z-axis powerfeeds for shops that run longer table passes or need hands-free feed control. A 3-axis ACU-RITE 203 DRO is also available on select configurations for shops that want precise position readout at the quill and table.
