The column and base are cast using the certified Meehanite process, which produces a dense, consistent iron structure. That rigidity keeps the spindle in alignment when you are taking heavy cuts in steel or cast iron. The base also incorporates a leveling design that lets you set the machine flat without raising it off the floor.

Class 7 Spindle Bearings Maintain Accuracy in Heavy Cuts

Class 7 spindle bearings are rated for high-load, high-speed operation. They support the spindle against radial and axial forces so your cuts stay true under pressure. The spindle head is internally cooled, which pulls heat away from the bearings and motor during extended runs and extends their service life.

Electronic Variable Speed Drive Covers 60 to 4,500 RPM

The Delta inverter-driven variable speed system lets you set spindle speed with a dial rather than swapping belts. The 60 to 4,500 RPM range handles everything from slow-speed facing on large-diameter cutters to high-speed finishing on aluminum. Speed changes happen without stopping or reaching inside the head.

Turcite-B Way Coating and Dual Axis Locks Keep Table Position

The X and Y-axis ways are coated with Turcite-B, a low-friction bearing material that reduces vibration and keeps table movement smooth and consistent. Dual locks on every moveable surface let you fix position on any axis before a cut. The table and ways are hardened to 54 HRC and precision ground, so contact surfaces stay accurate under daily use.
