One-Piece Cast Iron Column Holds the Head in Place
The column is cast in one piece, which reduces flex under load. When you are taking a milling pass or drilling into steel, a rigid column keeps the head from shifting and lets you hold tighter tolerances. The 4-1/2" diameter gives the machine a stable base for everyday shop use.
Power Downfeed Delivers Consistent Depth on Every Pass
The heavy-duty power downfeed moves the quill at a controlled rate so you are not hand-feeding through the cut. Three selectable feed rates give you the flexibility to match feed to material and operation. The positive quick-stop knob lets you set a repeatable depth limit without rechecking between holes.
12-Speed Belt Drive Matches the Spindle to the Material
The belt-drive head gives you 12 spindle speeds from 150 to 3,000 RPM. That range covers a wide variety of tooling and materials, from large-diameter face milling at low speed to small-diameter drilling at higher speed. The R-8 spindle taper is a standard that keeps your existing tooling compatible.
9-1/2" x 31-3/4" Table Handles Common Workpiece Sizes
The table gives you 20-1/2" of longitudinal travel and holds up to 400 lbs. Four T-slots at 5/8" keep fixtures and vises in place without extra prep. The 360-degree head swivel lets you angle the spindle when the work calls for it.
