One-Piece Cast Iron Column Holds Alignment Under Load
The one-piece cast iron column gives the machine a stable core that resists flex during milling passes. When you are working across the full table travel, that rigidity keeps your cuts consistent from start to finish. It also supports the 360-degree head swivel without introducing play into the setup.
R-8 Spindle Taper Accepts Standard Shop Tooling
The R-8 spindle taper is one of the most common standards in benchtop milling. It gives you access to a wide range of collets, end mills, and arbors without sourcing specialty tooling. The locking collet holds the cutting tool firmly against lateral forces so the tool stays put during milling cuts.
12-Speed Belt Drive Matches RPM to the Job
Twelve spindle speeds from 150 to 3,000 RPM let you dial in the right cutting speed for the material and tool in use. Slower speeds handle face milling and larger cutters. Higher speeds work for drilling and smaller end mills. Forward and reverse switching gives you added flexibility at the spindle.
Large Table with Full Two-Axis Travel Keeps Work Moving
The work table with 20-1/2" of longitudinal travel gives you room to work on larger parts without repositioning. Four T-slots at 5/8" with 1-13/16" centers let you clamp a wide range of fixtures and workholding setups. The table carries up to 400 lbs., so heavier stock stays secure throughout the operation.
