Non-Sparking Aluminum Housing and Fan Blade Reduce Ignition Risk
Metal grinding and finishing operations produce fine abrasive particles that can ignite on contact with a standard fan blade. The JDC-510 uses a non-sparking aluminum housing and fan blade to address that risk directly. This makes it a safer choice for shops running belt grinders, disc finishers, and similar abrasive metalworking equipment.
Anti-Spark Fireproof Filter Handles Abrasive Debris
The JDC-510 is fitted with an anti-spark, fireproof exhaust filter rated at 85.4% efficiency from 3 to 10 microns. That rating means fine metal dust and grinding particles are captured before they recirculate through your shop air. The filter is designed to be changed out without tools, so maintenance does not become a reason to skip cleaning.
Three Dust Ports Connect Multiple Machines
The JDC-510 includes three 3-inch dust ports with an 8-inch inlet option, so you can connect more than one machine to a single collector. This is useful in a dedicated grinding or finishing station where several pieces of equipment run in the same area. A single collector handles the dust load from that whole station without the need for multiple units.
Metal Chip Drawer and Caster Mobility Support Shop Workflow
Collected chips and dust drop into a steel drawer at the base of the unit. Cleaning is straightforward: pull the drawer, empty it, and return it to position. Four casters and two handles let you move the collector between workstations or reposition it as your shop layout changes.
