Six-Point Blade Guide System Keeps the Blade on Track
The J-7040 uses an adjustable blade guide with six contact points. Cam follower bearings mounted on eccentric shafts sit on both sides of the blade, holding it in line through the full cut. That kind of blade control reduces deflection and keeps cuts square, even in dense stock.
Variable Speed Drive Matches Blade Speed to the Material
The variable speed drive adjusts blade speed from 100 to 350 SFPM. That range lets you dial in the right speed for the material you are cutting, whether that is mild steel, aluminum, or harder alloy stock. Running the blade at the right speed extends blade life and produces a cleaner cut surface.
Oil-Bath Gear Transmission Built for Long Shop Hours
