Swiveling Head Keeps Stock Stationary During Miter Cuts
The J-7020M head swivels from 0° to 45° while the base and vise remain fixed. Heavy or long stock stays clamped in one position for the entire cut. You do not need to re-clamp or reposition the workpiece when changing angles, which reduces setup time and improves cut accuracy across the job.
Six-Point Blade Guide System Controls Blade Throughout the Cut
The blade guide uses cam follower bearings mounted on eccentric shafts on both sides of the blade. Carbide pads and side bearings work together to distribute the load evenly across the blade. This keeps the blade stable under load and produces consistent, clean cuts through solid metal sections.
Variable Speed Drive Matches Blade Speed to Material
The variable speed drive lets you dial in the right blade speed for the material you are cutting. Harder stock and larger sections run better at lower speeds, while lighter cuts can move faster. Matching speed to material extends blade life and keeps cut quality consistent from piece to piece.
Hydraulic Downfeed System Controls Descent Rate
A dual counterbalance spring system works with a hydraulic cylinder to control how fast the head drops through the cut. This prevents the blade from diving into the material and keeps feed pressure steady from the start of the cut to the finish. The result is a more uniform cut surface and less stress on the blade.
