Six-Point Blade Guide System Stabilizes the Blade Through the Cut
The J-7020 uses adjustable blade guide assemblies with six cam follower bearings mounted on eccentric shafts on both sides of the blade. This contact arrangement keeps the blade from deflecting as it moves through stock. The result is a cut that tracks straight without drift, even in denser material cross-sections.
Cast Iron Blade Wheels Sustain Blade Momentum
Cast iron wheels carry more rotational mass than fabricated steel alternatives. That mass keeps blade speed steady as the saw enters a cut, reducing the chance of stalling or chatter. The 14-inch wheel diameter gives the blade a smooth tracking radius suited to the saw's cutting range.
Oil-Bath Transmission Delivers Consistent Drive Power
The heavy-duty transmission uses hardened and ground gears running in a sealed oil bath. This design reduces wear and keeps the drive train operating quietly under load. Variable blade speed from 100 to 350 SFPM lets you match the cut rate to the material rather than forcing the material to match a fixed speed.
Patented 3-Jaw Vise Speeds Workpiece Setup
The rapid-action moveable jaw on the 3-jaw vise reduces the time needed to clamp each piece. The vise swivels to 45 degrees so you can set up angle cuts without repositioning the stock by hand. An adjustable material stop gives you a repeatable reference point for production runs where every piece needs to land at the same length.
