Two-Filter System Captures Fine Particles and Oil Mist
The IAFS-2400 runs a two-stage filtration setup with an outer MERV 8 prefilter and an inner MERV 12 pleated fiber filter. The outer filter handles larger particles and protects the inner filter from loading up too quickly. The inner pleated filter is 99% effective on fumes, oil mist, and water vapor at 8–10 microns, which covers the fine airborne contamination metalworking generates during cutting, grinding, and machining.
Air Diffuser Spreads Filtered Output Across the Shop
Outgoing filtered air passes through a diffuser that breaks it into a broader pattern rather than directing it in a single stream. This helps distribute clean air more evenly across the work area. The adjustable exhaust lets you aim circulation where your shop needs it most, which matters in closed or air-conditioned spaces where airflow is controlled.
Three-Speed Motor Matches Filtration to Shop Conditions
The 3/4 HP, 115V single-phase motor runs at three speeds: 2,097, 1,524, and 1,168 CFM. Lower speeds reduce noise to 66 dB and draw less power during lighter work. When the shop is running hard and contamination is higher, the top speed handles the load. The fully enclosed ball bearing motor includes overload protection for reliable daily service.
Programmable Timer Controls Runtime Automatically
A built-in timer adjusts in one-hour increments up to nine hours, so the unit can continue filtering after the machines shut down without requiring a manual shutoff. Residual dust and mist stay suspended in the air after work stops, and the timer keeps the filtration running until the air clears. This also reduces wear from unnecessary runtime during off hours.
