Two columns guide the head as it descends, keeping the blade on a controlled path through large metal sections. Single-column saws can flex under load on wide or tall stock, which pushes the blade off line. The dual column structure limits that movement so the blade stays straight and the cut stays square from start to finish.
Mechanical Variable Speed Drive Matches Blade Speed to Material
The mechanical variable speed drive adjusts blade speed across a range of 95 to 295 SFPM with four fixed speed positions at 86, 157, 228, and 330 SFPM. Harder alloys and larger sections cut better at lower speeds, and the ability to match speed to material reduces blade wear and keeps cut quality consistent across different stock types.
Integrated Coolant System Delivers Fluid Directly Through the Blade Guides
Coolant is distributed through the blade guides rather than applied at a distance from the cut. This puts fluid exactly where heat builds up and where chips accumulate, extending blade life and keeping the cut zone clear. The self-propelled blade brush works alongside the coolant system to prevent chip buildup in the guides between passes.
Continuous-Duty Motor and Gearbox Built for Production Use
