Four Workstations Handle the Full Range of Fabrication Tasks
The JIW-45T puts a punch station, flat bar shear, angle shear, and integrated seven-size rod shear on one frame. You can punch a 1-inch diameter hole through 1/2-inch mild steel, shear flat bar up to 8 inches wide at 1/4 inch, cut angle iron up to 3 x 3 x 1/4 inch, and cut round rod up to 3/4 inch without moving to a second machine. A foot control with a handle moves easily between stations so you stay in position and keep the pace of work steady.
45-Ton Hydraulic Cylinder Drives Clean Cuts and Punches
A 3-1/2-inch ram delivers 45 tons of force at 2800 PSI across all four stations. That consistent hydraulic pressure means the punch drives cleanly through material without stalling and the shear blades part stock without deflection. Each blade on the flat bar, angle, and rod shear is precision-machined tool steel with two cutting edges, so you get extended service life before a blade swap is needed.
Punch and Die Storage Keeps the Station Ready
The included punch and die storage tray holds up to ten punch and die sets on the machine. Compatible with most Edwards punch and die sets in round, square, oblong, hex, and metric profiles, the JIW-45T lets you swap tooling without hunting through drawers or leaving the station. A slug receptacle below the punch station collects punch slugs as they drop, keeping the work surface clear without stopping to sweep.
ANSI-Compliant Guarding and E-Stop Controls Protect the Operator
The angle and rod shear stations carry ANSI-compliant guarding as standard. The machine includes an E-stop with UL-listed compliant controls so the operator can halt the cycle quickly from any position. Workstation heights are set to reduce fatigue during extended use.
