The headstock slides along the bed and pivots a full 360 degrees with seven positive locking positions at 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, and 270 degrees. This lets you shift between spindle turning, outboard turning, and bowl work without removing the headstock or improvising a workaround. Each position locks solidly so the headstock stays put while you work.
