Heavy-Duty Welded Steel Frame Holds Squareness Under Load
The table is built on a welded steel frame sized to handle full 5 foot by 10 foot sheets of mild steel up to 1 inch thick. The rigid frame keeps the gantry square and supports consistent cut quality across the full cutting area from one job to the next.
Stepper Motor Drive System Controls All Three Axes
Single X axis and dual Y axis stepper motors drive the gantry across the table at up to 315 inches per minute. The Z axis motor controls torch height positioning, working together with the automatic height control to keep the torch at the correct distance from the material throughout the cut.
Integrated Water Bath Reduces Heat and Airborne Debris
The built-in water bath holds approximately 100 gallons and sits beneath the cutting surface to catch slag and reduce airborne particulate during cutting. Cutting over water keeps the work area cleaner and helps reduce heat buildup on cut parts.
BobCAD-CAM Express Software Supports File-to-Cut Workflow
A license for BobCAD-CAM Express is included with the table and supports DXF, DWG, BMP, JPG, and other common file formats for 2D cutting work. Files are loaded to the CNC controller via USB, and the built-in shape library gives you a starting point for common cutting jobs without CAD work.
