Two hydraulic cylinders are coupled to encoders that measure exact ram position and display it on a digital readout. Mechanical stops inside the cylinders hold the bend depth setting, so every part in a run bends to the same angle without readjusting between cycles.
Motorized Ball Screw Back Gauge Holds Precise Back Stop Position
The back gauge rides on a solid ball screw drive with its own encoder and DRO, giving you a readable and repeatable back stop position across the full 23.62" of travel. Front and back push buttons on the control panel let you adjust the position without leaving the operator station.
Hardened Stabilization Tracks Keep the Beam Parallel Through the Stroke
The upper beam rides on 3-axis bearings along hardened stabilization tracks and is further controlled by a parallel synchronizing mechanism. This keeps the die square to the lower tooling at every point in the stroke for consistent bend angles across the full 49" working width.
Three Bend Modes Support Setup and Production Work
The cycle mode selector offers SIN, INCH, and AUTO modes so you can jog the ram for setup, step through a bend manually, or run a full automatic cycle for production. A safety light curtain with a key switch monitors the die area during operation and stops the ram if the beam is broken mid-cycle.
