Needle and nozzle sets give you a matched pair sized correctly for your coating, so you are not left guessing whether your needle and nozzle sizes actually work together. Each set drops straight into your 7700 gun as a ready-to-use pair, also compatible with 7500 and 7600 guns.

Needle & Nozzle Set Sizes

0.5mm Set (16 second Zahn #2) — Automotive clear coat, spot repair only. Not recommended beyond one panel.
0.8mm Set (16 second Zahn #2) — Inks, dyes, stains, extremely thin fluids, and water based finishes with an A cap. Automotive sealer, basecoat, and clear coat with a B-HS cap.
1.0mm Set (16 to 18 second Zahn #2) — All purpose, thin lacquers, thin enamels, marine, and airplane finishes with a B cap. Automotive clear coat, marine, and airplane finishes over 35 percent solids with a B-HS cap.
1.3mm Set (17 to 20 second Zahn #2) — Waterborne polyurethane top coats and BIN primer with a B cap. Automotive 2K and epoxy primer, waterborne polyurethane topcoats, and finishes over 35 percent solids with a B-HS cap.
1.5mm Set (18 to 24 second Zahn #2) — Catalyzed lacquers, conversion varnish, primers, marine and airplane finish varnish, high viscosity industrial coatings, polyurethane top coats, and enamels with a B cap. Automotive 2K primer, epoxy primer, etching primer, and waterborne polyurethane topcoats with a B-HS cap.
1.8mm Set (18 to 26 second Zahn #2) — Same coverage as the 1.5mm set at a slightly higher viscosity with a C cap. Automotive polyester primer and waterborne polyurethane primer with a C-HS cap.
2.0mm Set (14 to 35 second Zahn #2) — Thinned latex paint, heavy primers, butyrate, nitrate dope, and high viscosity industrial coatings with a C cap. Automotive polyester primer and finishes over 35 percent solids with a C-HS cap.
2.5mm Set (35+ second Zahn #2) — Thinned latex paint, heavy primers, solvent adhesives, and wax based strippers with a D cap. Finishes over 35 percent solids with a D-HS cap.
