M18-V/M18-S Part Number 265SN :
On/off switch for variable or single speed control M22, 18 or 14.
On/off switch for Multimax18's with machine numbers 412400 and above, OR Multimax22's with machine numbers 503510 and above.
This switch is approximately 1" wide and fits into the side of an 'L' shaped control box on variable speed motors or a square box on single speed motors.
If you'd like to replace the Switch with a completely new box, new switch, PLUS the circuit board, please order XM18-465
Please Note*: Hegner’s XM18-265SN switches may have two tabs and two screws (2+2), or four tabs. With the 2+2, you need to use one tab plus the screw connection on the same side of the switch (if your wiring has connectors this will require you to cut off one of the clips and strip the wire end to attach it to the screw). With the 4 tabs connect the 2 wires vertically parallel. With both switches, when 1 side goes bad, the other side may still work. Improper wiring, will cause the switch to not work or work sporadically and will void any warranty.
