Apollo Needle & Nozzle Options for 7500 and 7700 Atomizer Gun

Many spraying difficulties are the result of using incorrect size needles, nozzles and air caps.

The chart below shows you which needle and nozzle combination to use for various applications. The maximum viscosity measured with a Zahn #2 cup is also shown.

Up to four sets of nozzles and needles can be stored in the Atomizer Deluxe Carrying Case which is supplied with the gun.

0.5mm Needle, Nozzle and Air Cap Set
For spraying clear coat on cars. It is primarily used only for spraying clear coat in a spot repair situation. Anything larger than one panel is too much.

This set comes with the 1.3mm - 2.0mm nozzles and needles. The set also includes the B-HS and C-HS air caps. The B-HS air cap when paired with the 1.3mm and 1.5mm nozzles is perfect for spraying high-solids wood coatings. The C-HS cap when paired with the 1.8 or 2.0mm nozzles is perfect for spraying latex paint on walls and doors. For spraying latex on cabinets we recommend the 1.5mm with B-HS cap for smoother results.
