QUICK RELEASE TENSION ROD
This quick-release tensioning system is now standard on new Polymax machines.
The good news: you can easily retrofit this valuable upgrade to earlier Polymax models. It simply replaces the current knob-style tension rod and installs in minutes.
Adjust tension just like with the knob-style tension rod, including adjustments at full speed. But when changing blades, instead of un-cranking and later re-cranking the knob, just flip the lever up to fully release tension. Change the blade, then flip the lever back down to set tension, and you're good to go!
Installs in only minutes using 3mm Allen wrench.
Important: This item will ONLY fit HEGNER Polymax saws and the discontinued Multimax-3 and Multimax-25 models. If you want this feature for a different HEGNER saw model, please order item XM2-12L.
