Tormek introduces its new RB-180 Rotating Base for Tormek sharpening systems.
Some tools are best sharpened with the stone running towards the edge of the tool, others should be sharpened with the stone running away from the tool edge.
This base rotates 180 degrees to obtain the ideal sharpening direction and it makes it very easy and simple to switch from sharpening to honing.
The base was designed to be as thin as possible so as not to affect the working height, while rubber feet ensure it remains steady during sharpening.
The base fits the Tormek T-7, T-3, 2000 and 1200 series sharpeners.
The platform has been designed with a frame which keeps the machine firmly in place.
It is constructed from three optimal high performance materials to ensure low friction and high stability.
