The Model 1100 and 1200 are the only HVLP turbine systems to have dual turbines, one two-stage motor and one three-stage motor, connected in series. The 1200 has twin intake fans and five air filters to provide the motors with ample "cooling" air, thus prolonging the life of the motors. The 1200 is capable of operating three spray guns simultaneously.
In addition to the powerful turbine motors, the 1200 includes an automatic fluid feed system, which uses a small oil-less compressor to automatically provide approximately 5 psi of air pressure to a 2-gallon pressure pot. The air pressure pushes the material/paint to the spray gun tip via the material hose. Pressure adjustment is made at the regulator on the pressure pot.
The Model 1200 is ideal for spraying all solvent and Water-based coatings, including; Enamels, Lacquers, Stains, Polyurethanes, Marine Coatings, Industrial Enamels, and all known waterborne coatings. The 1200 will also spray Latex paint (use with "Floetrol" or similar flow additive), Zolatone, Multi-Spec, Contact Cement, Gelcoat and other specialized materials.
The Model 1200 comes complete with Patented Twin Turbine system, 44 foot air hose with flex-end, 40 foot lined fluid line with couplers, 2- gallon pressure pot with gauge and regulator and the A5006 Production Gun. All other Apollo spray guns can be used with this turbine as well.
