Instead of cranking your vise endlessly every time you have a different workpiece size, this feature lets you slide the moveable jaw instantly along the entire length of the z-Vise or SwissRex, adjusting instantly! You simply push a button to release the jaw and slide it into position: then release the button to securely lock in place as desired. The innovative design also makes it possible to reverse the jaw. The z-Vise quick-release jaw may also be retrofitted to early z-Vise models, which were originally equipped with a standard moveable jaw without the quick-release feature.
